Our sourcing rule

Direct from employer, always. Every job comes from the employer’s own careers site (Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby) or from USAJOBS. Never LinkedIn, recruiters or job aggregators.

Where jobs come from

• Companies: public job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) of employers with a linked, public military hiring program. We keep remote and hybrid roles in the US and read each job’s location to work out which states can apply. If a posting says “remote” without listing states, we label it “Remote: location not stated” instead of guessing.
• Federal: the USAJOBS Search API, filtered to veteran and military-spouse hiring paths, and to jobs that are remote or telework-eligible.

Why we ask where you live

Most veterans aren’t moving every few years, and most “remote” jobs are only open in certain states, often for tax or licensing reasons. So we show what you can take from your state: remote anywhere in the US, remote jobs that include your state, and telework or hybrid jobs near you. Military spouses can switch to a view that puts remote-anywhere jobs first, because those survive a PCS move.
