CLOSED MICROPHONE REPORTER (OA)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the senior closed microphone reporter, responsible for the most difficult cases and for the training and work review of less experienced military/civilian reporters. Records and transcribes high speed, verbatim dictation, involving specialized terminology, using a closed microphone or similar mechanical equipment, in support of the Air Force judicial system and other statutory or regulatory proceedings requiring a transcript of proceedings.
